Airbnb is served through a dedicated plugin endpoint rather than the generic page fetch. Give it a location - a city like 'Austin, TX' or 'Paris, France' - and it returns the stays already parsed: the listing name and room type, the price (in USD by default, since prices follow the exit country), any original price, the rating and review count, badges like Guest favourite, coordinates, a photo and a direct room URL. Add check-in/check-out and guests for real dated pricing, filter by price range and room type, and page through as many as you need. It reads Airbnb's own listing data, so there is no GraphQL to reverse-engineer yourself.

What you can extract

  • Listing name, room type and subtitle
  • Price (USD by default) with any original/strikethrough price
  • Rating and review count
  • Badges (e.g. Guest favourite)
  • Latitude and longitude
  • Cover photo and a clean room URL

Dedicated endpoints

/travel/airbnb

Airbnb stays for a location

Airbnb stay listings for a city: a listings array with name, roomType, price (USD), rating, reviewCount, badges, coordinates, image and a room url. Add checkin/checkout and adults for dated pricing; filter with min_price/max_price and room_type; page with max_results.

How to scrape it

curl -X POST \
  -H "X-ScrapeUnblocker-Key: $SU_API_KEY" \
  "https://api.scrapeunblocker.com/travel/airbnb?location=Austin%2C%20TX&adults=2"
import requests

resp = requests.post(
    "https://api.scrapeunblocker.com/travel/airbnb",
    headers={"X-ScrapeUnblocker-Key": SU_API_KEY},
    params={"location": "Austin, TX", "adults": "2"},
)
print(resp.text)
import { ScrapeUnblockerClient } from 'scrapeunblocker';

const su = new ScrapeUnblockerClient({ apiKey: process.env.SU_API_KEY });

const data = await su.airbnbSearch('Austin, TX', {
  checkin: '2026-10-01',
  checkout: '2026-10-05',
  adults: 2,
});
console.log(data);

Requests are POST and take their parameters in the query string. Browser rendering always happens - there is no flag to enable.

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to scrape Airbnb?

Collecting publicly available Airbnb data such as listing names, prices and ratings is lawful in many jurisdictions, but the rules depend on your country, the data you collect and how you use it. Some of it can be personal data, so follow the privacy rules that apply to you. ScrapeUnblocker returns the public page; what you collect and how you use it is your responsibility.

How do I scrape Airbnb without getting blocked?

Airbnb uses bot detection and rate limiting. The ScrapeUnblocker plugin renders the page in a real browser, rotates residential and ISP exits and handles challenges, then returns the stays as JSON. In ScrapeUnblocker's benchmark it returned real content on 99.8% of 1,000 calls, about 8.9s per call.

What Airbnb data can I get?

Each stay comes with its name, room type and subtitle, a clean room URL, the price with Airbnb's own wording and any struck-through original price, a qualifier such as for 3 nights, the rating and review count, coordinates, badges such as Guest favorite and a photo. With dates, the price is the total for the stay.

Do I need an Airbnb API or account?

No. The Airbnb plugin returns stay listings as JSON without an Airbnb API account or login. Give it a city such as Paris, France, add checkin, checkout and adults for dated pricing, and filter with room_type and min_price or max_price. Collect up to 720 listings per search with max_results.

Can I get Airbnb prices for a specific market?

Yes. Airbnb prices follow the exit country, so the plugin uses a US exit by default and returns USD. Pass proxy_country with an ISO-2 code to price the same listings in another market's currency, then compare markets for the same dates.

How much does it cost to scrape Airbnb?

Each Airbnb plugin call is one request, and 1 request = 1 credit: EUR 1.00 per 1,000 on pay as you go, down to about EUR 0.55 per 1,000 on the Ultimate plan. A plugin search is one call, and the response already holds the full result set. Blocks, timeouts and errors on ScrapeUnblocker's side are not billed. The free trial includes 500 requests, no card.
