A LinkedIn company page holds the firmographics most lead lists and market maps need - industry, size, headquarters, founding year, website and follower count - and LinkedIn serves a public version of it without login, with bot detection, rate limits and a login wall for traffic it does not trust. A dedicated plugin endpoint takes a company slug, such as stripe, or a company URL and returns that page already parsed: the name and LinkedIn company id, tagline and description, industry, the company-size band and the number of members on LinkedIn, the headquarters with a structured address, company type, founding year, specialties, website, phone, follower count, logo and cover image, every listed location, similar pages, affiliated and showcase pages, and the recent posts with their date, likes and link. Every key is always present and is null when the page does not show it, and a slug LinkedIn has no page for returns a clear 404. It pairs with our LinkedIn jobs plugin, which returns the company's URL with each posting.

What you can extract

  • Name, LinkedIn company id, tagline and the full description
  • Industry, company type, founding year and specialties
  • Company-size band and the number of members on LinkedIn
  • Headquarters with a structured address (street, city, region, postal code, country) and every listed location
  • Website, phone, follower count, logo and cover image
  • Similar pages and affiliated or showcase pages with name, industry, location and URL
  • Recent posts with text, date, likes and link

Dedicated endpoints

/companies/linkedin

LinkedIn company page

A public company page by slug or company URL: name, companyId, tagline, description, industry, companySize, employeeCount (members on LinkedIn), headquarters, address, type, founded, specialties, website, phone, followers, logo, coverImage, locations, similarPages, affiliatedPages and recentPosts. Every key is always present and null when the page does not show it; a slug with no company page returns 404.

How to scrape it

curl -X POST \
  -H "X-ScrapeUnblocker-Key: $SU_API_KEY" \
  "https://api.scrapeunblocker.com/companies/linkedin?company=stripe"
import requests

resp = requests.post(
    "https://api.scrapeunblocker.com/companies/linkedin",
    headers={"X-ScrapeUnblocker-Key": SU_API_KEY},
    params={"company": "stripe"},
)
print(resp.text)
import { ScrapeUnblockerClient } from 'scrapeunblocker';

const su = new ScrapeUnblockerClient({ apiKey: process.env.SU_API_KEY });

const results = await su.linkedinCompany('stripe');
console.log(results);

Requests are POST and take their parameters in the query string. Browser rendering always happens - there is no flag to enable.

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to scrape LinkedIn company pages?

Collecting publicly available company data - industry, size, headquarters and follower counts - is lawful in many jurisdictions, but the rules depend on your country, the data you collect and how you use it. Posts can name or quote people, so follow the privacy rules that apply to you. ScrapeUnblocker returns the public company page; what you collect and how you use it is your decision.

How do I scrape LinkedIn company pages without getting blocked?

LinkedIn uses bot detection and rate limiting and sends traffic it does not trust to a login wall. The /companies/linkedin plugin fetches the public company page through ScrapeUnblocker's exits without a browser render and reads the data from the server-rendered page; when a fetch comes back without it, it tries again on fresh exits, and a last round can use a real browser, which is also how an unknown slug is recognized as LinkedIn's own 404. In ScrapeUnblocker's benchmark it returned the company on 100% of 1,099 calls with different companies, about 1.6s per call.

What data do I get for each company?

The name, LinkedIn company id, tagline and full description, industry, company type, founding year and specialties, the company-size band (such as 5,001-10,000 employees) and the number of members who list the company on LinkedIn, the headquarters with a structured address, every listed location with its primary flag, the website, phone, follower count, logo and cover image, similar pages and affiliated or showcase pages with their name, industry, location and URL, and the recent posts with text, date, likes and link. A field the page does not show, such as a missing tagline or founding year, comes back as null.

Do I need a LinkedIn API or a LinkedIn login?

No. The plugin needs no LinkedIn API access, account, login or cookies: send a company slug such as stripe, or a company URL, with your ScrapeUnblocker key and get the page back as JSON. Only what LinkedIn shows logged-out visitors is returned; employee lists and anything behind a login are not reachable, by design.

Can I look up a whole list of companies?

Yes. The slug is the part of the page URL after /company/, such as stripe in linkedin.com/company/stripe, and you can pass the full URL instead; a company name is turned into a best-effort slug, but the real slug is safer. Each company is one call, and calls run in parallel up to your plan's concurrency limit: 20 to 100 concurrent requests on Pay as you go, Starter and Pro, and 200 to 400 on Business, Scale and Ultimate. Our LinkedIn jobs plugin (/jobs/linkedin) returns the company's URL with each posting, ready to pass in here.

How much does it cost to scrape LinkedIn company pages?

Each call is one request: one company page, with its locations, similar pages and recent posts. 1 request = 1 credit, EUR 1.00 per 1,000 on pay as you go, down to about EUR 0.55 per 1,000 on the Ultimate plan. Blocks and timeouts are not billed, and the free trial includes 500 requests with no card.
